After a brief stint in the business world, Lissa Green finds herself back in the saddle. Growing up as the daughter of six-time Badminton winner Lucinda Green and three-time Olympian David Green, Lissa wanted to keep horses as a hobby. But her innate passion for the sport couldn’t go unanswered; Lissa is now an up-and-coming professional eventer managing her own stable in Marlborough, a market town west of London.
Her lifelong horsemanship goes beyond the saddle, too. Lissa keeps her horses in top form – healthy and happy – thanks to SUCCEED.
Lissa Green’s Eventing Achievements
From her inaugural ride perched on the front of her dad’s saddle to galloping upper level cross-country courses, Lissa can’t recall a time she wasn’t riding. And working difficult horses was the best foundation for her budding career. The challenging mounts, along with tutelage in local Pony Clubs, gave Lissa the fortitude to succeed in the sport.
Since shifting careers to pursue eventing professionally, Lissa continues to forge her own path. She opened her own stable, which has grown to house eight horses, and trains with Major Richard Waygood (the former Riding Master of the British Army). As she continues to move up the levels, Lissa has her sights set on having two horses go 4* by the end of 2017.
Lissa Green Recommends SUCCEED
Like her mother who has used SUCCEED for more than 10 years, Lissa knows that optimal digestive health is fundamental to keeping her horses at their best.
For Lissa, a natural approach to training and feeding routines is key. Her horses enjoy year-round turnout and open-field conditioning, along with quality feed and daily doses of SUCCEED.
