The time of year has come again for the Eventing Season to begin.  Even with the previous unfortunate weather conditions, there is quite a lot to look forward to.

Chris King

Chris and Zanie King are in their 7th year of using Succeed as an effective part of their horses feeding and management routine and still swear it’s the best product on the market. Chris King Eventing is now a smaller team heading into 2014 with Chris’ 3 best horses at the helm. GI Master Caster- 13 year old advanced eventer will head to Gatcombe as his first event, followed by Weston Park and Withington Advanced and then to Tattersalls CIC*** and Barbury CIC*** to gain his qualification for Blenheim CCI*** as the end of the year.  House of Tudor – 9 year old with great two star form, will upgrade to Advanced and CIC*** this year with his main aim being the 8 & 9 year olds at Blenheim in the autumn. He too will start at Gatcombe OI end of March. Billy Bounce- the star of the team- 9 year old already jumping clear round the CIC*** at Blenheim last Autumn , he will run round some advanced classes in the Spring and head to Tattersalls, Barbury CIC***, and then Blenheim/Boekelo in the Autumn. He is their Rio hopeful as a very exciting young horse.

Bill Levett

Bill’s Horses have been back in work since the end of November and are now in full work in terms of schooling, and fitness levels being increased with their gallop and hill trotting programmes underway. All the team had their first run at Oasby giving them a chance to get back in to the game at a nice steady pace. The main goals for Spring are Badminton, Luhmuhlen and Tattersalls in terms of three day events, and a range of one day events to bring the horses on at all levels – from those having their first introduction to eventing such as Gus and Sparkles through to those aiming for Badminton who are listed for the World Games such as Alfie, Silks and Womble.

“Succeed is an important part of keeping the horses in great shape, for s we feel it does a great job at ensuring the horses digest and absorb effectively all of the good food we put in to them. The horses look great on it- and even the fussy eaters love the Succeed.”

Lissa Green

Lissa has is now in full swing having completed all their slow work to start off the season with six very entertaining, very different horses ranging from 3 years to CIC***. The team has started their dressage and jumping lessons too, which sees the horses going from strength to strength. The new arrival Scorpio has settled in well and Lissa’s hopes are that he along with Glencrue Destiny will be crossing the waters to compete in the CCI** at Tattersalls and then aiming for Blenheim CCI*** at the end of the year. Boleybawn Free and Daisyonfire will be aiming for CCI* at Hartpury whilst Boleybawn Karma will be aiming for the 5 year old championships at Osberton. Coraggio Z is just broken and rising 4; however, he will not be aimed at any 4 year old classes as he will use this year to grow and learn about life without any pressure.

Lizzie Brown

Lizzie is the latest Competitor to join our Sponsored riders’ team. She is a very exciting Eventer and a member of the New Zealand High Performance Eventing squad, having previously represented New Zealand at Young Rider level. Lizzie has competed and won at two and three star level including that of: 2010 Puhinui CCI 3* NZ Three Day Champs, 2011 NZ Horse of the Year CIC 3*, 2013 Blair Castle CCI 2*, Brightling Park CIC2* and Boekelo CCI 3*. In 2011, Lizzie moved from New Zealand to Wiltshire. She has her sights fixed on the 2014 World Equestrian Games, followed by the Olympics in Rio 2016.  Her horses are getting ready for their first outings of the season, with Belton Park at the beginning of April. Henton Attorney General and Bulana will be aimed at Saumur CCI3* and CIC2* respectively; Playtime will head to Tattersalls CIC3*, with Princeton and Vincent will competing at CCI1*.

“We have used Succeed on several of my horses since being introduced to the product by our vet ‘Spike’ (Peter Milligan). We have been astounded by the turn-around in condition, attitude, recovery and work ethic since using the product. I truly believe my recent run of good results is purely thanks to Succeed. I put every effort into ensuring that my horses and I are ready to perform when it counts and up until now I think the missing link has been Succeed. The horses are feeling, looking, performing and recovering better than ever before.”
