SUCCEED is very pleased to announce a new member to Team SUCCEED from the UK: Chris King Eventing. Chris and his fiancee Zanie run a very successful eventing yard in Wiltshire and we are very much looking forward to supporting and working with them.
Chris and Zanie have used SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program on their horses for several years. We have been thrilled to hear how enthusiastic they are about SUCCEED and how beneficial it has been for their horses. With the team achieving more and more success with a string of top quality horses, there is no doubt that exciting times lie ahead.
Our top horse “The Secret Weapon” in the run up to a major 3* CIC lost his appetite and topline. When we consulted our vet (GB team vet Liz Brown), she suggested we try him on Succeed Digestive Conditioning Program. We found that his appetite returned within 10 days of starting SUCCEED and over a period of 3 to 6 months he changed physically. SUCCEED promoted his appetite and his coat, condition and topline improved by 100%. In continuing to use SUCCEED, this improvement was maintained throughout intensive training and major competitions. SUCCEED has transformed my horses’ overall well-being and they all look and perform amazingly on it.
About Chris King
Chris King grew up riding in the New Forest Pony Club, following which he attended Hartpury College for a diploma in Equine Business Management. After college, he started riding for Revel Guest Albert, owner of the Cabalva Stud in Herefordshire where he rode numorous horses at novice level and gained a lot of valuable experience. In 1997 he we to work for Adele Schardt at Somerley Park riding more experienced horses. His first rides at advanced level came a year later with Martin and Penny Podmore.
Chris believes he got his lucky break when he was offered a job as stable jockey for David and Jane Tolley in 2000. They provided him with a base of owners and a constant supply of horses to compete on from PN to Advanced. After four great seasons with the Tolleys, Chris and Zanie felt they had enough experience to start their own yard together, which is where they are currently.
